Buddy Martin

I am married with two kids, wife Kylah, 13 year old daughter Hailey and 10 year old son Ethan.  Both kids have played both recreational and travel soccer for SCSA.  I have been around the club since 2005 with various roles (team parent, assistant coach, maintenance and currently manager for the U11 boys).  Lately I have been helping with some maintenance items around the club. In my time away from the fields I am the Den leader for Ethan's Cub Scout Pack where I teach the boys important life skills.  By night I am an airplane mechanic at the Indianapols Airport, which I have worked for 10 years.

Jennier Duffy

Though currently a homemaker with 3 children, Jennifer Duffy earned a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from the University of South Carolina.  She worked as a staff accountant for Heartland Industries of Indianapolis where she was later promoted to an Accounts Receivable Supervisor position, managing 11 people and overseeing approximately five million dollars of receivables from individuals and Lowe’s Home Improvement Corporation.  Advancing even further within the company, she was promoted to a Financial Analyst position after having been selected to join a special operation group appointed by the president of the company to improve individual sales branch profitability; it was during this time Jennifer lived on the east side of Indianapolis where her 2 sons played soccer at ESSA.

After moving to Greenwood in 2006, Jennifer joined the Center Grove Soccer Club board as vice president of the recreational soccer program.  She supervised and managed the program for two years, overseeing coach and team assignments along with the day-to-day operation of the program.  She then went on to handle uniform selection, order processing, and spirit wear to which she implemented the club’s first online store.  She has thoroughly enjoyed being a part of South Central Soccer board for the past seven years.  The joy that is brought to children while playing a beloved game of soccer has been the driving force behind her participation and contribution.  She believes SCSA provides the community with an excellent opportunity to teach soccer to kids of all ages and skill level. Jen enjoys nothing more than witnessing player growth, gratification, and enjoyment.  She is a firm believer that a fun environment feeds and keeps alive one’s passion for the game.

Currently, Jennifer has two children playing soccer at SCSA.  Her son Brendan plays on the U17B Clash team of which she has been manager for 5 years, while her daughter plays in the U10 Academy.  Jen’s decision to join the executive board at SCSA comes from a desire to improve the over all experience for players, parents, volunteers, and staff members but most of all, the future of SCSA.
